If you're wondering why you should give a damn about my fanfiction recommendations, here's a few of my fiction likes and dislikes. See if they mesh with yours.

The following are fandoms I will be posting fanfic recs for...

Series I will be covering: Naruto, One Piece, Buffy the Vampire Slayer fics that focus on Xander, Ranma 1/2, Fruits Basket, Ouran Highschool Host Club and other misc anime series.

Movies: The Labyrinth

Books: Harry Potter, How's Moving Castle

Likes: I prefer fanfiction with good, strong characterization. I also prefer stories without yaoi/slash, but I can be won over by yaoi/slash fanfics with extremely exceptional writing. I will stop reading a fanfic with terrible grammar and spelling. A few typos are acceptable to me, as long as the other story elements have merit. I like interesting crossovers. I like interesting crossovers that come out believable even better. I like lemons, but not darker lemon fics that contain such things as rape, etc. Any lemons I post will be marked as such.

Dislikes: I don't like character bashing of any kind. It's immature and a sign of a crappy writer. I also can't stand fanfics that have OOC tags. If you know there's something wrong with your story's characterization, then FIX IT don't wallow in your own lameness. Also, "It's an AU" is not a blanket excuse for all of your characters being out of character. I can deal with most pairings, but I really really really hate Naruto/Sasuke fics. Also, I sometimes wonder if Spander fans (Xander/Spike) may be just a little insane. Seriously, don't stop taking your meds people.
